Terri Schiavo has died.

Her parents were denied a request to be at her bedside.

Oremus. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. May Terri's soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.

Read it here.

As my friend Deb D. said, "This is not the end. This is just the beginning." Our children's children and their children & grandchildren will be reading about Terri in the history books. God grant that they read that this barbarity woke America up to look at the culture of death and the culture of life. And to choose life.

And may the legislators who made of this an issue to score political points rather than a sincere demonstration of the integrity of their political beliefs be quickly removed from office, whatever "side" they were on.
