Ignatian discernment talk gets scrambled by the UD public relations folks

I sent the UD Public Relations folks a press release about an upcoming lecture on April 11 given by Sister Kathryn James, fsp (Daughters of St. Paul) on the subject of Rules of Discernment as taught by St. Ignatius of Loyola.

Here's how it appeared in our daily events schedule:

April 11
Lecture: "Discerning the Spirits," a lecture on divination and spirituality practices. 104 Gore Hall, 7-9:15 p.m. For information, call 831-8812.

YIKES!

I am flabbergasted. I assume they don't know that divination is not something that Catholics do. And I assume they didn't think anyone would be interested in knowing that this was a lecture on Ignatian spirituality given by a Catholic nun.
